Unique tournament IDs in the selected room, within the 180-day UTC window. Missing prize values and currencies are excluded from medians; currencies are never combined. Verification share is verified events divided by all password-tracked events, including pending and reported entries. It measures source agreement, not successful registration. A dash means insufficient observations. These records are a sample, not a complete operator schedule; an absent event is not evidence of cancellation. A recorded zero is treated as unknown unless explicitly confirmed.

Research reviewed:

Poker Planets is a poker platform whose official site describes cash games, tournaments, Spin&Win, Teleport and play-money games, with desktop, Android and browser access. Its historical SPF campaigns demonstrate ticket-based freeroll routes to live tournament seats. They do not establish a current daily free-tournament schedule. A player considering Poker Planets should distinguish cash, tournament money and qualification tickets, and check country restrictions before opening an account. Official site and historical campaign.

The Sochi connection does not make this PokerStars

The official SPF material describes a separate route for former PokerStars Sochi players whose data had been transferred to Poker Planets. It also explicitly says the Flutter Group is not associated or affiliated with PokerPlanets.com. A former-player promotion is therefore not evidence that Poker Planets is PokerStars, shares its network or carries the same regulatory permissions. Operator campaign terms.

The main site identifies Entertainment Planets B.V. as operator. We have not independently established its ultimate beneficial owner or a poker-network relationship. Existing account history, software similarities and tournament names are insufficient grounds to infer either one.

Two historical entry paths with different conditions

The 2025 SPF newcomer page describes a staged route with a free first stage that allowed paid rebuys and an add-on. Qualifying then led through further tournaments to a live-event ticket or tournament-money rewards. Its campaign period ended in June 2025. These are historical examples of a free entry coexisting with optional paid chips, not an active offer to claim today. Newcomer campaign.

The separate former-PokerStars-Sochi page describes daily login tickets and a dedicated qualification ladder. It documents Cashier → Tickets for checking those entitlements. That is a room-specific help detail, but should not be generalized into a promise that every new account receives those tickets. The promotion had defined eligibility and dates. Former-player instructions.

We found discrepancies between the newcomer page’s introductory schedule and its detailed terms. We therefore do not reproduce those times as a live timetable. Where an old article, formal conditions and current lobby differ, obtain confirmation for the actual event instead of choosing whichever entry looks most generous.

Tournament money is a distinct prize type

The historical campaign defines $T as funds usable for tournament buy-ins and fees. Its nominal dollar equivalence does not make it withdrawable cash. A live-event seat likewise has participation conditions and can involve travel considerations. A ticket’s face value alone cannot tell a player how useful the prize will be. Prize definitions.

For a future Poker Planets event, first identify whether the reward is cash, $T, an online ticket or a live-event seat. Then check expiry, transferability and the cost of any next stage. Do not add the face values of several stages together: the same player may be progressing toward one eventual prize rather than receiving independent cash awards.

Read the regional and withdrawal conditions together

The indexed official terms, version 1.1 dated 11 May 2026, list Entertainment Planets B.V. and describe restricted jurisdictions including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain and the Netherlands. They also state that a country missing from registration is not accepted. We could access this indexed primary-source text, while a fresh direct terms fetch returned a JavaScript shell. Recheck the live terms before relying on a particular regional detail. Official terms.

Those terms distinguish poker deposit turnover from ordinary wagering: they describe a rake or tournament-fee threshold equal to 10% of deposited funds for poker. That can materially affect a player depositing solely to use an account. The document also requires account verification and leaves method-specific fees and limits to the cashier. This review neither promises a withdrawal speed nor recommends depositing to satisfy a promotion.

Software and licensing evidence remain bounded

The official homepage describes Windows and macOS downloads, an Android APK and browser play. We have not installed or tested them, audited an APK or verified a native iOS app. Promotional statements about security and software quality are not independent test results. Check current device requirements through the official product documentation before committing to a long tournament. Platform overview.

There is also a discrepancy between licence-number strings displayed on official material: the homepage footer and indexed terms do not consistently show the same sequence. We have not resolved that discrepancy against a regulator register. Consequently, this review does not certify the licence or convert the footer into a safety rating. A language option is not proof of country availability.

Our evidence and practical assessment

The repository snapshot reviewed here has no tournament observations and no room-history rows; its feed timestamp is 19 September 2026. We cannot calculate Poker Planets’ observed freeroll frequency, average prize or ticket-delivery reliability. Nor does missing coverage show that an event was cancelled.

Poker Planets has documented experience of multi-stage qualification campaigns and clearly distinguishable prize currencies. Its historical pages also show why dated offer checks are essential. An eligible existing player can investigate current events through the live data and client. Someone choosing a room for a guaranteed no-deposit cash freeroll should wait for a currently verified event rather than relying on the expired SPF examples.

Poker Planets questions

Is Poker Planets part of PokerStars?

The reviewed official material expressly disclaims an association with the Flutter Group. A former-player campaign does not establish a shared network or ownership.

Are the SPF Summer 2025 freerolls active now?

Their published campaign period expired. They should be treated as historical examples unless a new offer is separately verified.

Can $T be withdrawn as ordinary cash?

The campaign defines it as tournament-entry money. A nominal USD equivalence does not remove that restriction.

Where were former-player tickets shown?

The historical instructions specify Cashier → Tickets. This does not establish current eligibility for a particular account.

Does a translated page mean the room accepts that country?

No. Eligibility depends on the operator’s current jurisdiction rules and registration availability.
