Unique tournament IDs in the selected room, within the 180-day UTC window. Missing prize values and currencies are excluded from medians; currencies are never combined. Verification share is verified events divided by all password-tracked events, including pending and reported entries. It measures source agreement, not successful registration. A dash means insufficient observations. These records are a sample, not a complete operator schedule; an absent event is not evidence of cancellation. A recorded zero is treated as unknown unless explicitly confirmed.

Public source records: HighStakes Poker Schedule ↗

Research reviewed:

HighStakes is a poker product within a site that also offers casino games and betting. Its poker documentation describes Hold’em cash games, All in or Fold, MTTs and satellite paths. The strongest reason for freeroll players to examine it is the published freebuy schedule. The essential qualification is that free initial entry does not mean every additional chip purchase is free.

What the Showdown schedule actually describes

The published schedule labels HS: Freeroll Showdown a freebuy with a $25 guarantee, 2,000 starting chips, $0.10 rebuys, a paid add-on and a 15-minute late-registration period. It displays examples at :15 and :45, with an ellipsis between parts of the day. That supports a recurring schedule claim, but does not independently confirm every individual start. HighStakes schedule

For a player maintaining a zero-spend session, the practical decision is whether to play only the free entry and decline optional purchases. Another player may rebuy or add on, changing the effective competition for the prize pool. We do not calculate expected value from the guarantee: entrant counts, actual prize terms and optional spending would all be needed.

A guarantee is also different from an observed final prize pool. The schedule’s monthly headline should not be treated as the value of free tournaments alone, because the same page contains paid daily events, weekly majors and satellites. Comparing that total with another room’s freeroll total would mix different products.

Cash prizes, tickets and password events

HighStakes’ freeroll page describes both cash prizes and tournament tickets. It also says some events are password-protected and directs players to its social channels for releases. The page’s registration instructions point to the Tournaments lobby. Those statements establish several access and prize types, not one universal code for every freeroll. Freeroll information

When the prize is a ticket, inspect the destination event before valuing it as cash. Check the required next stage, expiry and any attendance or travel conditions. A ticket ladder may suit a player seeking entry to another event; it is a different proposition from a cash freeroll whose prize can be withdrawn under the account terms.

Register from the event details

  1. Use the official HighStakes poker page to choose a supported client or the browser route.
  2. Open the documented Tournaments lobby and locate the exact Showdown or satellite name.
  3. Confirm the displayed timezone and the dated start; the public schedule alone is insufficient for converting an undocumented clock.
  4. Read the initial entry, rebuy, add-on and late-registration conditions.
  5. If a code is requested, match it to that event’s current organizer release.

The live listing on this page should supply an observation time and status when evidence exists. A schedule-derived future row and a password confirmed for a particular event are different evidence. Treat each field according to its label rather than assuming the whole record has been verified by successful registration.

Software claims worth separating

The poker page offers Windows and Mac downloads plus browser play. It describes Hold’em and three-handed All in or Fold, while marking Run it Twice as coming soon. We therefore do not list that future feature as currently available. Its Mac instructions also describe an unsigned application; we did not install it or independently assess the package. Client and feature page

Browser access provides a documented alternative to downloading a client, but it is not proof of identical features or reliable play on every phone. Confirm the device route and event access before registration. We have not measured table responsiveness, battery use, connection stability or multi-table performance.

Operator, access and financial checks

The April 2026 terms identify Seven 5 Offsuit Ltd., registered in Belize. They exclude access from countries including Austria, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States, and prohibit location-masking services. Those restrictions apply independently of the languages offered by the site. HighStakes terms

HighStakes displays an Anjouan licence claim. A current regulator entry was not independently confirmed during this review, so we do not present the claim as a verified licence status. The operator’s payment agent, where one is used, must also be distinguished from the company contracting with the player. Check the account’s cashier and KYC terms rather than assuming a crypto-related promotion eliminates identity checks or withdrawal conditions.

Our assessment of the freeroll proposition

The detailed freebuy structure is useful: it lets a player identify optional spending before entering. The limitations are the need to confirm dated starts, separate cash from ticket prizes, and reconcile feature announcements with the available client. This is more suitable for an eligible player comfortable checking event structures than someone expecting every “FREE” label to describe an entirely purchase-free tournament experience.

The checked-in feed and history snapshot supplied no observations for calculating actual HighStakes activity. We cannot verify that every advertised slot ran, rank its prize pools against other rooms or estimate password reliability. Missing data is left unknown, rather than interpreted as inactivity.

HighStakes questions

Can a HighStakes freebuy include paid chips?

Yes. The published Showdown structure includes paid rebuys and an add-on despite free initial entry.

Is Run it Twice confirmed as available?

No. The reviewed feature page marks it as coming soon.

Must every HighStakes freeroll have a password?

No. The freeroll page says password-protected events occur occasionally. Inspect the specific event.

Can I use a browser instead of installing a client?

The official poker page offers that route. This review does not establish feature parity on all devices.

Does the public schedule prove the next Showdown is running?

It describes recurring plans. A dated lobby event and current registration status are still required.
